School's. Out. For. Summer. (almost)

Well, this is it.  The last installment of kindergarten unfiltered for the 17-18 school year.  I know we've been quiet on the blog lately, as the end of the year is a bit of a whirlwind, but I'll be darned if I don't share these last moments of learning with you all before we embark on summer adventures.  I can't say I did much editing or commentary on these ones, but the photos speak for themselves.  I will leave this blog up for the summer, should you or your kinder find yourselves reminiscing about our fantastic year and wanting to look back together.

If I haven't already made it clear this year, please know this: it has been both a privilege and a gift to be your child's teacher.  The end of the year always reminds me of how we all started off a strangers on the first day. . . some excited, some nervous, some very unsure.  But here we are 180 days later and it's safe to say we've become a bit of a family here on Team 111.  School is a pretty special place. I hope your child has built their love of school this year and that it will continue here at BES in the years to come.  Without further ado, some end of year snapshots

The Gruffalo

Sidewalk Chalkin' - We started off with addition and subtraction number sentences, but if you give 18 kiddos their own piece of chalk and enough time . . . the activity may evolve.  :)

Outdoor Bubble Exploration with Mrs. Kurtz - I'm convinced there is little in life that is more joyful than kinders with bubbles outside on a sunny/breezy day.  Enjoy!  Make sure you find the video!

A Musical Visit with Mr. Aaron - What a perfect addition to our last week of school events.  He is local! Check him out at mraaronmusic.com.  I hear he does birthday parties and lessons!

Field Day Fun - I tried to capture some of the fun of field day here, including a video of our entire school getting a little H2O refresher from the Bow Fire Department. Unfortunately my home computer is so awesome that it uploaded them out of order, so my apologies for that.

Wishing you all a warm and wonderful summer!
Fondly,
Miss Robinson (Emily)
